Robert York
Owner
Robert is the founder and co-owner of Octagon Cleaning & Restoration. He holds many industry certifications. With over 15 years of indoor air quality-related experience including project management, inspections and consulting, he is uniquely qualified to handle any water damage, mold damage, and bio remediation project. Robert is a Maine-licensed master pesticide applicator for mold and bacterial treatments, an EPA-certified Lead Safe Renovator, certified in applied microbial remediation (mold remediation), water damage restoration, carpet cleaning, fire and smoke damage, and applied structural drying. He is also board certified for CMRS (Council-certified Microbial Remediation Supervisor) as well as CIEC (Council-certified Indoor Environment Consultant). Robert oversees all of the company operations and is a driving force in ensuring customer satisfaction.
Katharine York
Co-Owner
Katharine is co-owner of Octagon Cleaning & Restoration. Katharine works full time for the local police department as a dispatcher, is an active property manager and helps oversee the operations of the company.
Angelo Quatrano
General Manager
As our general manager, Angelo is responsible for overseeing the managers and technicians. He works to set policies and procedures for the employees and Octagon. Angelo coordinates with the management staff to evaluate employees, company performance and efficiencies. Angelo captains our highly effective Disaster ERP program as well. Additionally, Angelo is responsible for steadily growing the Octagon brand. He has nearly 20 years of management experience. Prior to joining Octagon Angelo was the general manager for a successful local marketing firm.

Alana Callahan
Office Manager
Alana is our office manager. She has years of experience in office management and human resources. She is responsible for creating and implementing company policy, ensuring smooth client relations and is a key part of all other office functions. Alana is critical in ensuring that our company is on the leading edge of all applicable regulations and industry practices.
Lynn Campbell
Air Duct Division Manager
Lynn is our air duct cleaning manager and holds many certifications including NADCA’s ASCS certification, water damage technician, mold technician and is an EPA lead-safe renovator. Additionally, he studied business at St Joseph’s college. Lynn is a critical part of what we do here at Octagon and is a leader in the indoor air quality field specifically involving HVAC systems.
Brindi Riley
Operations Manager
As our operations manager Brindi is responsible for the day to day workflow, the daily logistics of our technicians and job assignments. She effectively coordinates our 3rd party vendor programs. Brindi maintains a long, complex list of supplies required to successfully complete our projects. Brindi can also be found on job sites providing work scopes, overseeing many fire/smoke damage and mold remediation projects to ensure regulatory compliance. She is water damage certified, fire/smoke damage certified, EPA lead-safe certified, and certified in applied microbial remediation. Prior to joining Octagon, she earned her degree in sports management at Thomas College.
Melissa Compton
Program Manager
Melissa is our Program Manager and Asbestos Supervisor. She is IICRC certified in fire, smoke and water damage restoration and is a Maine state-licensed asbestos abatement supervisor. Melissa joined Octagon with more than 10 years of experience in the cleaning and disaster restoration industry. At Octagon Cleaning and Restoration Melissa manages fire, water, mold and asbestos projects throughout Maine and New Hampshire. Melissa is also responsible for overseeing the Asbestos Division and processing insurance claims for billing purposes. Prior to Octagon Cleaning and Restoration, she has had extensive training in all aspects of the disaster restoration industry. During Melissa’s career, she began as a field technician performing disaster restorations. Through her experience, licensing, and certifications she moved on to managing projects and insurance claims.
Matthew Brown
Estimator
As an Estimator it is Matt’s responsibility to thoroughly inspect any type of loss that Octagon provides service for. He educates clients about his findings and provides the reasons behind any recommendation. Additionally once a job has commenced he maintains consistent communication with both the crew and client to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded. Matt joined Octagon in 2011. He came to us with 5 years of industry experience. He began his career as a technician. Performing all types of jobs such as mold, water, sewer, fire/smoke, and biohazard. With his industry knowledge and ability to quickly assess any type of loss Matt was promoted to his current role and is a valuable member of the Octagon team.
Madeleine Coro
Customer Service/Social Media Administrator
Maddie is both our customer service and social media administrator. She is acutely focused on providing Octagon’s clients with industry-leading customer service. She is responsible for scheduling jobs, inspections, data entry, and supporting the rest of our team as needed. Maddie also assists in managing all of Octagon’s successful social media accounts. Maddie joined Octagon with 5 years of high-level customer service experience. Her infectious attitude and can-do spirit make Maddie a perfect fit for the Octagon team.
