Robert York

Owner

Owner, Robert York

Robert is the founder and co-owner of Octagon Cleaning & Restoration. He holds many industry certifications. With over 15 years of indoor air quality-related experience including project management, inspections and consulting, he is uniquely qualified to handle any water damage, mold damage, and bio remediation project. Robert is a Maine-licensed master pesticide applicator for mold and bacterial treatments, an EPA-certified Lead Safe Renovator, certified in applied microbial remediation (mold remediation), water damage restoration, carpet cleaning, fire and smoke damage, and applied structural drying. He is also board certified for CMRS (Council-certified Microbial Remediation Supervisor) as well as CIEC (Council-certified Indoor Environment Consultant). Robert oversees all of the company operations and is a driving force in ensuring customer satisfaction.

Katharine York

Co-Owner

Katharine is co-owner of Octagon Cleaning & Restoration. Katharine works full time for the local police department as a dispatcher, is an active property manager and helps oversee the operations of the company.

Brad Rosenberger

Brad joined the Octagon Cleaning & Restoration team after an extensive Leadership career in Retail. His past focus and training in Customer Service, Operations and Team development is now being used to grow our Restoration team and to maintain the highest of Service standards in our Industry. Brad is always here to help guide our Customers through difficult circumstances after Fire, Water or Mold has damaged their homes. Brad never lets our team forget the important work they do restoring our Customer’s lives after often devastating loss.

Blaine J. Davis

Business Development & Marketing

Blaine Davis

Blaine is our in-house expert in business development and marketing. He brings over 20 years of dynamic leadership, teambuilding, educational and management skills to the table. Prior to moving back home to Maine he was the program director for a certification program at a top 10 MBA university in California. His focus is split between growth and systems and helping Octagon to acquire critical new relationships. When he’s not at his desk, you can probably find him assisting our clients with complex issues or helping with quality control checks and doing in house training for our project managers and field supervisors.

Maddie Coro

Maddie Coro

Maddie is our Office Manager who joined our team as an Admin Assistant in 2019. In 2023, she transitioned to her current role where she oversees our small, but mighty customer service department. Maddie also manages our Human Resources department and is very passionate about serving and supporting both clients and colleagues.

Madilyn is our Administrative Assistant here at Octagon. Her main focus is providing stellar service to our clients. Other responsibilities include scheduling jobs, inspections, bringing sunshine-y energy to the office, and maintaining our customer database. Madilyn strives to ensure operations run smoothly and offer support to our team as needed.

Jodi Day

Accounts Receivable Manager

Jodi Daye

Jodi is our Accounts Receivable Manager and joined the Octagon team in December of 2022. She comes with 25 years of experience in all aspects of accounts receivable including both billing and collections with extensive experience in customer service. Jodi works closely with insurance adjusters and our customers to ensure timely payment for services and ease through what can be a stressful situation.

He began hiscareer with Octagon Cleaning & Restoration as a technician who loved the way clients and employees were treated. Matthew Richardson

Matthew Brown

As an Estimator it is Matthew’s responsibility to thoroughly inspect any type of loss that Octagon provides service for. He educates clients about his findings and provides the reasons behind any recommendation. Additionally once a job has commenced he maintains consistent communication with both the crew and client to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded. Matthew joined Octagon in 2011. He came to us with 5 years of industry experience. He began his career as a technician. Performing all types of jobs such as mold, water, sewer, fire/smoke, and biohazard. With his industry knowledge and ability to quickly assess any type of loss Matthew was promoted to his current role and is a valuable member of the Octagon team.

MacKenzie Peterson

Asbestos Project Manager

Mackenzie Peterson

Started in restoration in 2004, she is licensed in several states as an asbestos inspector, supervisor, and holds multiple other licenses. She holds many IICRC certifications and brings a friendly, pragmatic, and sincere personality to serve all of our customers. She personally manages and has input on every asbestos job that Octagon takes on. She monitors quality control in not only our asbestos jobs but in every service division and acts as part of our go to problem solving team.

Brindi Riley

Operations Assistant

Brindi Riley

Brindi is responsible for the assisting in day to day management of ongoing projects. Brindi maintains a long, complex list of supplies and equipment required to successfully complete our projects. Brindi can also be found on job sites providing work scopes, overseeing many fire/smoke damage, water damage, asbestos abatement and mold remediation projects to ensure regulatory compliance. She is water damage certified, fire/smoke damage certified, EPA lead-safe RRP certified, certified in applied microbial remediation, trauma and crime scene clean up certified. She is also a licensed asbestos inspector and asbestos supervisor. Prior to joining Octagon, she earned her degree in sports management at Thomas College.

Samantha Gwinn

Samantha was born and raised in Maine and graduated from Catherine McAuley High School in Portland.
She has 5 years of experience in the restoration industry with an extensive background in water and fire damage as well as handling customer’s personal property. She holds several certifications within the industry and looks forward to bringing her vast experience to the Octagon team. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her 3 year old and the rest of her family as well as camping in the Rangely Lakes region.
