Our branch manager Nathan Santorello came to us from Vermont with over ten years of experience. Initially, I was nervous because another company gave me a quote for $3000 for a moldy patch that was precariously placed near a wooden stand where the water heater used to be. Octagon came and explained that the mold was much more extensive. They told me what they could do and what it would cost. Suffice to say that they went above and beyond the call of duty and gave me a very reasonable price that they itemized.

What’s more important is that they actually explained how much more extensive the damage was… They took pictures of areas that were not exposed to the naked eye. So it ended up being a bigger job than I expected. I had to take the furnace out (I had to hire someone else to do that), Octagon they came and remediated, spent several hours doing the job. And voila. The furnace was returned to its place on a different brick platform. I actually feel like I have a new garage.

The only problem is that Octagon said they would get rid of the mold debris and they left it in my trash instead. We live in a condo and I was very nervous that they weren’t going to take the molded wall plaster. Luckily, they took it.

So, I hope this convinces you. It was very stressful having to sort all of this out. They delivered.
